John CARICATO

John has been performing live since high school in Scotch Plains, NJ, playing Bass in the ten-piece band Final Entry and winning two consecutive Battle of the Bands by covering local rock idols Southside Johnny and Bruce. John went on to study Music Theory at Syracuse Univerity's College of Visual and Performing Arts and Piano Performance at Julliard.

In addition to Rock Bass, John's strengths include Classical Piano and Finger-style Acoustic Guitar. Since relocating to Asbury Park, John could be found busking on the boardwalk with friends on an upright piano or covering James Taylor and Paul Simon at local open mike nights. 

With local Punk band Free The Witness, John has played bass at The Stone Pony, The Saint and Bond Street Basement as well as recording piano, bass and acoustic guitar tracks for their album Deliverance at Lakehouse Recording Studios. John is excited to join the Lakehouse Music Academy team and looks forward to sharing his expertise with the developing artists studying here.
