Kristen Wilczewski

Guitar | Piano

Kristen began her musical career working with and being a part of performance groups as well as taking vocal lessons in a music program since the age of 12. During that time, she taught herself (as well as received lessons on) how to play piano and guitar. She has performed all over New Jersey including the Stone Pony and Wonder Bar. Additionally, she performed at the Highline Ballroom and the Javits Center in New York City from 2013 to 2017. In 2015, she auditioned for an Allstars program and was accepted as one of the top 1% of the Nation that tried out. This opportunity allowed her to tour the country that summer at various well known venues such as the House of Blues in Chicago, the Wonder Bar in Asbury Park, the World Café Live in Philadelphia, The Thompson House in Kentucky, Hard Rock Café in Pittsburgh as well as Lollapalooza in Chicago.

Kristen graduated from Monmouth University May of 2021 with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Music Performance/Concentration in Music Industry and a minor in Interactive Media. At Monmouth University, she was active in her school’s record label and performed every semester of her college career in concert choir. She auditioned with some of her original songs to be on Blue Hawk Record’s quarterly compilation albums and had the opportunity to record two of them at Lakehouse Recording Studios. The release show for the Volume 11 Compilation Album was held at the House of Independents. She has also performed in multiple shows held at the University such as the Beatles White Album Symposium as well as the Bruce Springsteen Symposium. In 2019, Kristen had the opportunity to perform alongside Ricky Byrd (guitarist of Joan Jett and the Blackhearts) at the Langosta Lounge for Light of Day.

After High School, as well as during and after graduating from Monmouth University, she has been and still are a part of multiple separate cover bands as lead vocalist. The songs played are mostly Classic Rock, but she listens to, enjoys and practices multitudes of different genres as well.

She values being a part of a team that allows her to expand her musical abilities as much as possible and ultimately sharing her never ending passion with others to help them grow to their full potential as musicians.
