Lakehouse nights were my favorite nights because my son was guaranteed to return home fulfilled, happy, and peaceful regardless of anything else going on in his world.

I've said it before, and I need to say it again; you should be so very proud of the community you have built over the last decade and of the fantastic music coming through the walls of that building every single day!

We can't thank you enough for the support and encouragement you have provided from the start and for hooking us up with top-notch professionals. We count ourselves lucky and are extremely grateful for your attention and care.

Most of all, we are beyond fortunate that our son has been exposed to outstanding teachers who have inspired him, pushed him, and shared their love of music in ways that have forever shaped his life's trajectory. Their dedication and expertise are securing the Lakehouse legacy!

Hear from the Lakehouse Community:

  • Excellent Music School with highly dedicated and professional staff! They encourage their students to develop and take their talents and skills as far as they can. They provide all aspects of music education and also provide many opportunities and experiences for the students to learn, grow and be successful in music.

  • When I did the Core program it really got me out of my shell and pushed me to sing on stage... I've seen so many kids enter Lakehouse timid and nervous about performing on stage, who end up blossoming during their time at the school and end up playing as well as professional musicians.

  • EVERY SINGLE TEACHER has been so kind, encouraging, and enthusiastic that my little dude is thrilled to go to band practice and lessons each week and happily practices his lyrics and instrument at home. I’m beyond grateful for the impact LakeHouse has had on my kiddo.

  • Great experience. Learn theory and how to play properly w lessons and play in live settings no matter what your level.

    - ROBERT B.

  • Wow! This is an amazing environment that helps budding musicians thrive.

My daughter takes the core program which is one lesson on her instrument and a rehearsal with a band each week. They play a gig in a high-profile venue at the end of each semester.

    - Alex M.

  • My daughter’s lessons with Jose continue to exceed expectations! I cannot say enough good things about Jose. It brings tears of joy to my eyes to hear them collaborate. He gives her the wind in her sails. Still what she looks forward to each week, that speaks volumes.

  • A great adult program for the amateur musician who still wants to rock out, but also has a family and job commitments.

    - Mike C.

  • A great place to learn how to play music, in a fun and friendly way.

    - MIKE D.

  • Cadets classes have been wonderful, my child even took classes during the summer. She loves it.

    - RUTH K.

  • If you want your kids to rock out, this is the school.

    - MANNY B

  • I was blown away by how beautiful the facility is and by the many programs offered to children and adults which further develop their love of music and skills.

    - DAWN H.

  • Great teachers in a supportive and fun learning environment for ALL ages!

    - VAL S.

  • I was nervous about going back to the building during the pandemic. You guys did a fabulous job making me feel safe....microphone covers, temperature checks, sanitizing the rehearsal rooms, mandatory face coverings, and limited people to allow for social distancing. I also noticed no extra instruments for communal use which sounds sad but helps stop the spread. I also watched as Patrick sanitized all the door handles and common areas! Great job, Lakehouse! Unfortunately, this is our new normal but coming back to play music in the safe environment you have created makes me smile from ear to ear!

  • Not to sound like a cliche, but this place ROCKS.

I have a one-year-old and a 2.5-year-old, and both of them get so excited when I say we're headed to music class! Their program is like a mommy-and-me class but the kids play REAL instruments and sing classic rock songs along with traditional children's songs.

  • Used to attend lake house. I’ll stop by one day and check out some bands. Lakehouse is awesome. You can live your dream no matter your skill level. I never gigged in a band until I went to Lakehouse. And it was a fantastic experience.

  • … My son performed in his first Big Gig with Lakehouse Music Academy. As a fellow musician, I also had a gig that night so we were in full music mode. Having just finished his first session with a new band, I was blown away by their set. it was tight, creative, and full of energy. And, while the kids were all smiling ear to ear the entire set, so was their instructor, Kay, who was possibly having an even greater time than they were playing with them.

In addition to performing, my son has a weekly vocal lesson with a fantastic instructor. The benefits of these lessons, only a couple of months in, were instantly seen at the show as well. I can't say enough how enthusiastic I am about the program, other than to say my son is even more so than I am, which is how it should be. If you are contemplating getting involved with Lakehouse, you've probably already waited too long. Just like we did. My son only wishes he got involved sooner and he talks about it every day.

    Couldn't be happier.
